Alright lads and lasses, please help us out here. If you subscribe to the podcast through iTunes, we need you to update your feed in your iTunes library – this will be the feed moving forward. Simply go into iTunes and click on –

Just to let you know that we recently got an offer to buy out the podcast and pay us to host it. We are going to reject this offer for the following reasons –

We don’t want to have to compromise the content – we want to say what we want and allow all of our guests to have their say too.

We don’t want to be part of any advertising campaign that we don’t agree with – ie, could you imagine if the Sun or Daily Record were advertised through us – I don’t think so…..

This was a big decision for us as we have just invested a lot of money in recording and mixing gear to try to improve the planned live “phone-ins” and I can tell you that a few buckeroos towards those costs was very tempting but we decided just to eat the costs ourselves.

The reason we need you to update your subscription feed is that we want to be able to show our new hosts that our listening numbers are what we estimated them at and with the move we have seen a small drop in our numbers and we want to build that up again to show them how big the Celtic family is.
